  • What is non-invasive body contouring or sculpting?
Non-invasive body contouring uses different methods to assist in weight loss, reduce saggy skin, restore skin elasticity, or target certain areas to reduce bulging or stubborn fat deposits that have been resistant to diet and exercise. These techniques are painless or minimal in discomfort, quick, but may require multiple sessions to enhance your silhouette and achieve the best results.
  • What methods are used in the process of body contouring with La Soigner?
Radio frequency skin tightening, ultrasound fat cavitation, wood therapy, laser lipo and vacuum therapy. ● Radiofrequency (RF) therapy/skin tightening uses RF waves to non-surgically tighten loose skin on the body or face. The procedure involves using energy waves to heat the deep layer of your skin known as your dermis. This heat stimulates the production of collagen. Collagen is the protein in the body that gives your skin its firmness. ● Wood Therapy is an effortless and efficient way of contouring the body without harming the skin or tissue. Wooden instruments are applied to the body to fight cellulite, facilitate weight loss, improve skin texture and smoothness and improve the body’s size, shape and proportions. ● ultrasound fat cavitation uses sound waves to damage fat cells. During the procedure, gel is applied to the skin and the device is applied to the targeted area of excessive or stubborn fat. This causes the fat cells to erupt, breakdown, of which they are then discarded by the body’s waste system. The device is calibrated only to target fat cells and will not disturb surrounding tissues or organs. ● Vacuum Therapy is performed using a machine connected to suction cups which are applied to the skin. The suction stimulates blood flow to the butt or breast. This suctioning will improve tone, lift and firm the glutes, and reduce cellulite thus improving the volume and silhouette of the whole area. This can also be done on the breast for an ideal candidate. ● Laser lipolysis is a non-invasive weight loss procedure that uses laser light technology to reduce fat cells in specific parts of the body. This is the preferred option for those who don’t want to undergo extreme methods such as liposuction, as it does not require needles or surgery.
  • What are the side effects or pain associated with these treatments?
Side effects are minimum for most treatments. A client may experience temporary bruising, minor soreness, warmth, redness to the area, or tingling sensations. Ultrasound causes the client to hear a noise that the technician does not hear due to the sound waves used to disrupt fat cells inside the body. Vacuum therapy can be uncomfortable during the process. Most clients rate discomfort at about a 4 due to the strong suction used throughout the process. Vacuum therapy is most associated with some minor bruises and redness but is temporary and discomfort goes away once the machine is removed. Overall, it is very bearable and pain is not major at all.
  • How many sessions will I need?
This all depends on the client, their current weight loss regimen, or current percent of body fat. Ideally the client will be in a steady regimen of dieting, exercising and waist training. The ideal client should also be no more than 30% body mass index. However, larger patients will obviously need more treatments. most people see improvements with 1-3 weekly sessions for 2 to 3 weeks (4-6 sessions). The average amount of sessions can range between 3 to 12 sessions, weekly then routine maintenance after.
